The Conversation Hour, 12 February

Convo Hour 12 Feb.jpg

Jon Faine and I had a lot of fun talking through the results from my friend Dave Mack's 2018 Toasted Cheese Sandwich Competition, held last Saturday. This not-quite-annual event is so much more than a party where you eat a lot of cheese. It's an increasingly serious competition, and the dedication and ingenuity of competitors, the rigour of the judging and the GLORY brought home by the winner is something to behold. That said, we did also speak with two guests whose cultural value may be more broadly agreed upon: the funny and knowledgeable author Jimmy Thomson, and the adventurous, passionate pianist Ambre Hammond. Listen back here.
